Follow the Rainbow
New Westminster's secand annual Pride Celebrations took place August 11 to August 14, 2011. The theme was "Follow the Rainbow". It is a all inclusive gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer & their allies celebration of events throughout the week with, live music, drag performances, dancing, theatre and much more!
Pride Day, Saturday, August 13th, 2011 it all started with a fundraising event Hills & Heels up 6th Street to the Pride Proclamation ceremony at City Hall, followed by the Community festival in Tipperary Park. There were a wide variety of vendors and a full slate of live musical entertainment on the Pride Stage.
